  • The institute selects research projects each year in consultation with Chungcheongnam-do Province, its cities, counties, and the provincial council, focusing on empirical studies that provide foundational data for national or regional development. Research funding is provided from the institute’s own budget. The main scope includes surveys, analyses, and proposals for alternatives across various fields of provincial and municipal administration.
Current Issues
  • Current issues projects refer to short-term studies requested by Chungcheongnam-do Province and its cities and counties, focusing on urgent policy matters that require immediate responses. These studies aim to provide effective support so that research outcomes can be applied in a timely manner. Topics are selected in consultation with the relevant local governments, with a focus on proposing alternatives for urgent policy strategies or current issues.
Commissioned Research Projects
  • Commissioned projects are research studies conducted at the request of Chungcheongnam-do Province, its cities and counties, or related organizations serving the public interest. The costs are covered by the requesting institution on a reimbursement basis.
