본 연구에서는 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 시외버스 서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다 분석자료는 충남 시외버스 이용자를 대상으로 대인면접 설문조사를 통해 수집하였다 분석결과 환경요인이 운행요인보다 서비스 만족에 더 중요한 요인인 것으로 나타났다 남성의 경우 정류장청결과 교통카드충전의 편리성이 버스청결보다 중요한 요인이며 여성의 경우 정류장청결 카드충전편리 이용요금적정성 보다 버스청결이 더 중요한 요인으로 나타났다
또한 환경요인의 만족도가 높아질수록 이용자는 이용했던 버스를 타인에 권유하는 의향이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다
따라서 시외버스 서비스 만족도를 높이고 시외버스 이용을 활성화하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 버스의 청결도를 높여 쾌적한 환경을 제공하는 것이 필요할 것으로 판단된다 본 연구결과는 시외버스 이용 활성화를 위한 정책개발의 기초자료 로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다
The purpose of this study is to explore factors that influence the use of intercitybus services by means of applying a structural equation model The data were collected by a questionnaire survey based on personal interviews with intercitybus users in Chungcheongnamdo province Analysis results show that environmental attributes of the bus service are more important than operational attributes In the case of men the cleanliness of bus stops and the ease of transportation card recharging are likely to be the most crucial factors However women are likely to consider the cleanliness of the bus as the most important factor affecting their satisfaction about the intercitybus service Moreover as peoples satisfaction about the bus service increases their willingness to recommend the use of intercitybus to others will increase Therefore to improve the use of intercitybus and to increase the satisfaction about the service clean buses must be provided These results could contribute to developing a policy to activate the use of intercitybus
